RE: Direct TV

I have an extra dish that stays in the 5er and 2 receivers at home so when we leave I take one of the receivers from home and put it in the 5er. Been doing that for years, works great. Someone posted on here some time back that Direct TV has a emergency package you can get from them for about $50.00 that has a little tripod and dish that you can set up after an emergency to get back your reception till an installer can install a new dish for you. Would be great for RV use just don't tell them what you want it for.

RE: Charger cooked????

What reading was 10.58? Voltage or current. If voltage that is too low.
Just tested. Put the ampmeter on "20", attached the allegator clips to the terminals and prepared to see more sparks when I plugged in. To my surprise there were none and I got a reading of 10.58. The charger was set for a deep cyccle battery and 2 amp charge. Now my problem is that I don't have a clue if the reading is good or bad!! Any help?
tks

RE: Master Lock Cable Lock

I have a couple but anything can be defeated. A lock will only keep an honest man honest or maybe slow down or discourage a thief.

RE: Rear kitchen

Don't worry abut the tongue weight, the manufacturer already took that into account when designing the trailer. Give them some credit.

RE: unplugging a television

When plugged in you have standby power supplies energised so you can start the TV with a remote. These supplies draw next to nothing in standby.

I prefer full as it leaves less room for condensation to form.

Too Good not to Pass On

To My Bank
Dear Sirs,
In view of what seems to be happening internationally with banks at the
moment, I was wondering if you could advise me. If one of my checks
is returned marked "insufficient funds," how do I know whether that
refers to me or to you?

RE: 15" Tire problem---SOLVED

Sure wish I could use that size, they are just too large in diameter and would only leave me about 1 1/2" - 2" between tires. I will have to go to 225/75R16 which are rated at 2680 @ 80 PSI and are 29.4" in diameter.
That's right where I am. I can almost get three fingers between the tires.
Sluggo
Do you have any problems with that little space between tires? Does anyone know what the minimum space between tires should be? I would love to go to a slightly larger tire to get more capacity, not that I really need it but forr the peace of mind!! :)
